BLIS DETAILS

Bachelor of Library and Information Science or BLIS is an arts degree that comes under science and humanities. Bachelor of Library and Information Science course’s common acronym is BLIS. BLIS course duration is 1 year which focuses more on library science. Eligibility for the BLIS course is a minimum of Bachelor’s degree with 45 percent of aggregate marks. BLIS course mainly focuses on maintenance, management, and preservation of library and its sources in a most secure way through computer networks. Librarians are trained on how to maintain library data and how to use e-books and how to save them.
